Three actresses go on a search for memories, rituals, and occurrences of that ‘once in a lifetime’ event. They were assisted in their search by several local actors and musicians.
They join their voices in Brides to describe the common and unspeakable dream of romance, companionship, marriage, and chaos. The show grew out of the short meetings of the core group in New York, Antwerp, and Banska Bystrica (Slovakia) from 2006 and onwards.
The show premiered at Pregones in the Bronx (New York) on December 4th 2008. Several different versions were conducted at Sering (Borgerhout) and in Banca Bystrica.
